Collections: Historic places
Built in 1887 this one room country school has staved off disaster and demolition over the years. It was moved to its current resting ground in 1991 through the efforts of Woodbine residents. In 2013, inside the school house, I was joined by city officials and locals and presented this original watercolor painting of Merry Brook School to the recipient of my Leisa Collins Historic Preservation Award, the person who led the efforts to savethe school. I am offering it now as prints so others can enjoy it.
All prints made in the USA using high quality archival inks. Mats and backing boards are also archival quality and fit into standard size frames.
